Before you agree

• Read reviews and check whether the business is “Verified”.
• Ask for a quote up front, ideally in writing (a Viber message is fine).
• Agree the cost of materials and labour separately.
• Don't pay everything in advance. For bigger jobs, pay in stages.
• Ask registered companies for a fiscal receipt.

Warning signs

• Full payment up front, or payment to someone else's account.
• A price far below the average on the “Prices” page.
• Pressure to decide right away.
• Refusing to confirm the agreement in a message.
